At Ekam, we pay homage to India's first love—the six-yard wonder, the saree. Ekam is the brainchild of two passionate individuals— Sandeep Dhelaria and Viraja Achar—who sincerely appreciate tradition, craftsmanship, and fashion. Together, they envisioned a brand that seamlessly blends affordability with elegance, ensuring that sarees for women remain an accessible and stylish choice for all. Whether it’s a party wear saree, a traditional silk saree, or a black saree for a bold statement, Ekam brings forth an exquisite selection for every occasion.

The Visionaries Behind Ekam

With over 13 years of experience as a diamond trader, Sandeep is a skilled jewelry designer and diamond grader with an impeccable eye for detail. He currently leads Shantala Davangere, a legacy brand with over 40 years of trust and excellence in central Karnataka. His expertise in quality and design is a cornerstone of Ekam's commitment to excellence in crafting sarees that exude timeless charm.

A fashion enthusiast and model since the age of 16, Viraja has an extensive background in marketing with over 11 years of experience. Having worked with renowned brands, she most recently served as the Brand Head at Nalli Silks, where her passion for sarees deepened. Her keen sense of style and market acumen bring a fresh and modern perspective to Ekam, ensuring that each designer saree and silk saree blouse design is elegant and contemporary
